Covid-19 & The Surgery

The partners have listened to patient's concerns about lack of appointments and since the beginning of November have increased the number of doctor sessions by 5 extra per week.

The Local Medical Committee are supporting GPs and their staff with regards the excessive workload general pracrtice is facing, whilst recovering from the pandemic.

Please remember we are not a pub or shop and rules within general practice are different. Face masks must always be worn when attending the surgery. We have to think of our vulnerable patients and protect our clinical and admin team to allow the surgery to remain open.

Please be polite and respectful to our staff as they are working hard to meet patient requests, whilst dealing with an excessive workload. Thank you

For those patients who order their prescription on site, please post your request into the post box next to the front door, preferably using the right hand side of their previous prescription.

We need all patients to nominate a local Pharmacy to receive their prescription electronically, this will reduce journies and length of time you are out of your home. There may be an extenuating circumstance when electronic prescription service may be unavailable, we will of course advise patients of this, should the situation arise.
